MTS launches Unistream money transfers in its own retail network

One of the largest Russian telecommunication operator MTS and Unistream international money transfer system have become partners.

It is now possible to use Unistream services in more than 4,500 MTS offices in Russia. Clients can make money transfers throughout Russia, to the CIS countries and far abroad. Making a transfer takes about 5 minutes.

“We are constantly improving the quality and the level of customer service,” said Kirill Palchun, president of Unistream money transfer system. “Thanks to the cooperation with MTS, the network of sending and receiving Unistream transfers has significantly increased , and our service has become even more accessible.”

“Money transfers are a demanded service among our clients. We are constantly working to improve the existing services and provide new services to make our retail network even more convenient for visitors. A lot of branded sales offices, convenient location of MTS offices make them a comfortable place to make payments, said Yury Labis, commercial director of MTS retail network. “The partnership with Unistream is an important step that will increase the number of services that are nowadays available at MTS offices”.

Unistream and MTS offer customers a special tariff until June 30. If the currency to receive the transfer is different from the Russian ruble, the commission from the sender is 0% for transfers to Kazakhstan, and 0.5% for other countries. In Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan and Moldova, money transfers may also be received in the national currencies, that will allow clients to save money.
