The amount of transaction of the international money transfers system UNIStream in Tajikistan increased 128 percent over a year period. The analysis department reported the system processed the volume worth $285 mln. in Jan-June against $126 mln in the same period last year.
In the second quarter the system processed transactions worth $179 mln, up 118 percent.
The CEO for UNIStream, Souren Hayriyan said the high growth rates achieved are due to successful realization of the business development program in both CIS and Tajikistan including.
“If you analyze our activity [in Tajikistan], you’ll see we have been actively progressing in all directions. The service point network increased from 300 to 480 outlets. We work with all large financial institutions in the republic,” he said.
